"Get your popcorn ready...

" ... because it's going to be a show."

Terrell Owens
Dallas Cowboy

Right now, I don't know what else to say.

But I'll think of something.

Trust me.

Terrell Owens is the football equivalent of "it's always fun until somebody gets hurt."

He will have an outstanding first year, just as he did with the Eagles. He'll want more money and balls thrown his way the second season, and then he will become a more abrasive locker room presence.

An average offensive line and Drew Bledsoe's lead feet aside, Jason Whitten and Terry Glen will see their catches go through the roof because the coverages will rotate over to T.O.

Julius Jones should run for over 1,100 yards because linebackers can't bunch up in the box. It will be a great first year for the 'Boys if their defense can keep up.

I can't lose this one.

My favorite year as a Cowboy fan was the first year with Jimmy and Jerry when I got to watch those two yay-hoos LOSE EVERY SINGLE GAME (except one -- and we did win the One That Counts -- the Skins at RFK, woo!).

And then of course I became a Jerry-fan when we won three damn super bowls in four damn years.

So if Terrell tanks I will enjoy the Hate, but I think you're right -- I think (barring injuries, yada yada) this first year should be fun, and he's likely to be on his best behaviour.

Thanks for stopping by -- I see I have a new blog to read!

Enjoy it Pooks because barring injury, it's going to be an exciting season. I'm a Niner fan, but the best I could hope for this year is 8-8. So I just want to see some quality football.

Of course, If Jerry Jones' plastic surgery melts in the sun, that'll make me ecstatic too.
